THE PREMISE:

The Image Crit is an online informal activity, where we will challenge your creativity, and offer you feedback on your work.

Every meeting you will get a different creative challenge presented, where you can submit 2-5 images for critique in our next meeting. Everyone in class will be asked to give feedback on everyones images, in addition to instructor Elisabeth N Aanes. This often leads to interesting discussions, and input, that might give you new ways of looking at your work.

We also invite our participants to be part of The Image Crit group on Facebook. A hidden group where everyone invited has been, or is, part of The Image Crit. Participants can use this group to connect with fellow creatives and share work to get feedback on in between classes.

To set up the challenge instructor Elisabeth will, in the end of each Image Crit meeting, give a short lecture presenting the premise of the new challenge. The challenge for your first class will be sent to you by e-mail. Some challenges will be right up your allay, and some will be more tricky, but for each attempt to creatively solve the challenge given, your photography skills will be stretched, nurtured, and grow.

You will be shown work from many different photographers as inspiration to each challenge, to give you a great send off into your creative process, but also make you aware of different work that fellow creatives are doing.
