THE PANEL:
Anna Clarén (SE): Clarén is the Instructor for NORDphotography's Personal Project Mentor Class (online), and has been mentoring the photographers, who's projects are under review, over the last year. Clarén is one of the most recognised Swedish photographers. Her breakthrough came with the photo series Holding (2006), where the book Holding was awarded Best Photobook in the Swedish Photo Book Prize. She has had solo exhibitions at Vãrmtlands Museum Karlstad, The House of Culture and Fotografiska in Stockholm, and at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen in France. Clarén's work is held in the collection of Moderna Museet in Stockholm.

Sal Taylor Kydd (USA): Sal Taylor Kydd is an international exhibited photographic artist and writer based in Maine, USA. She uses various photographic media in a personal narrative that explores themes around memory and belonging; combining her poetry with alternative processes of photography and object-making. Taylor Kydd is also a veteran workshop leader and educator and has led workshops and conducted portfolio reviews throughout the country and internationally.

Michael Honegger (FR): Michael Honegger is a visual artist born in Germany with a B.A. in History & Spanish from Duke University, a M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Professional Certificate in Visual Arts from Maine Media College. His practice as a fine art and documentary photographer explores the performative nature of self-portraiture, the complexities of memory and family and an investigation of the ironies of American culture with an expatriate’s eye. He has exhibited his work in numerous juried group shows throughout the United State and Europe. He is a European Content Editor for Lenscratch and currently resides in Nice, France.

The talk will be moderated by NORDphotography's and SAGA's founder Elisabeth N Aanes (NO).
